Moose Cabin

Welcome to Wildman Getaway! This recently remodeled cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, a queen bed on the main level, and 4 single beds in the loft along with a front porch to relax on and watch the wildlife. There is also a laundry available in the Wash House.
Located in the heart of moose country, you'll have plenty of opportunity to see the moose, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes and other wildlife. It's only a short and beautiful 1.7 mile walk to the Kenai Peninsula Fair Grounds.

The space

Wildman Getaway is a private cozy Alaska experience situated on the Kenai Peninsula, yet is only a 5 minute drive away from the local 3 Bears convenience store and is surrounded by world class fishing locations in Kenai and Homer. It's best of both worlds!

Guest access

During your stay you'll have full use of the wash-house which includes a washer/dryer, 2 fully plumbed (on septic) bathrooms with a shower, toilet and sink (these are in addition to your in cabin suite 3/4 bathroom). You also have access to the community firepit, picnic tables and grassy play field.

Other things to note

There are year round tenants that live up on the hill at the property. Please be respectful of their privacy and adhere to the quite hours of 10PM - 8AM. Any violation of their privacy or the quite hours rule will not be tolerated, guests found in violation will be asked to leave and no refunds will be granted.
